Project is not opening (Fatal error! )

I am trying to open a unity project but i am receiving a **"Fatel Error"** in the middle of importing all assets of project by unity. My project is large in size ( about 4.2 GB ) .and I am using unity iOS trial version 3.5 . The error says that system is out of memory but my computer's RAM is of 5 GB -DDR3 . Is it really a memory problem ? Please guys help me out of this . Thanks in advance :-) Unity shows the error : **Fatal error!** Could not allocate memory: System out of memory! unity web player fatal error couldn't switch to requested monitor resolution

Hi guys So we made a web player for a project, the resolution is 900 x 400 and i made a button in the web player so the user can toggle to full screen mode. I used this piece of code to switch to full screen. public class example : MonoBehaviour { void Example() { Screen.fullScreen = !Screen.fullScreen; } } I tested it on a bunch of different computers and it works fine. But i have found that there where some computers that crashed when i pressed to full screen button and i got this fatal error message - - couldn't switch to requested monitor resolution -' Now i have looked on the web and on the unity forums for a solution but can't find anything. Now i was hoping anyone here had a similar problem and knows why the web player crashes. Or can point me in the right direction to fix it. thanks

How to stop monodevelop from using unity debuger?

I was about to debug an script and I click on debug with unity debugger (I think) by mistake now I cant debug my script without seen a Fatal Error sign. I dont want to use unity debugger I want my default debugger back! I cant code like this. everytime I press debug (the normal debugger, not Run with unity debugger) I get this Fatal Error: *Fatal Error: It looks like another unity instance is running with this project open bla bla bla* Of course, theres no "other instance" its the f*cking unity debugger. I disabled Launch aplicacion on the unity debugger options, now it says "waiting for debugger to connect" **Uninstalled unity, reinstalled it and the problem persists** (twice) ![alt text][1] [1]: /storage/temp/7005-problem.jpg

I once successfully started it up than tried to import an asset from the Unity Asset Store (I previously bought it). The import gave me an error then I had to force quit Unity. Now every time I start it I get: "Fatal Error - type == kMetaAssetType && pathName.find ("library/metadata") != 0". I even deleted Unity and every Unity-connected folder I could find on my Mountain Lion system, then reinstalled Unity. But still I get that same error. Nothing I do seems to enable me to get Unity running again. The assets that gave me this trouble is the RageSpline: http://u3d.as/content/freakow-/rage-spline/1DK

Its acting stupid everytime I open it keeps saying that the bootcamp demo won't open and to delete the library folder in the unity projects folder and when I deleted it the error still shows! I don't even wanna open the bootcamp demo Unity keeps trying to open it for no reason! Its getting me angry!I really want to make a game but Unity screwed up!I tried uninstalling it and download a different version it didn't fix anything!

Hi, I have an FPS game and at first I am not having errors like this one and when my project got a little big, I've lost track of what may cause this error. I've done some research but most of it says that this is about the graphics card, but I've also read that this is also about the garbage collector. I really need to solve this error. and also about the error "unable to create broadphase entity", I need info and solutions Please help..thank you very much.

Fatal Error When I Load Unity

It started today. I tried to get onto my project in Unity but it says "Fatal Error! Could not allocate memory: System out of memory! Trying to allocate: 2085482240B with 4 alignment. MemoryLabel: STL Allocation happend at line: 55 in" It says some other stuff but it's too long. What happened, how can I fix this?

hello I had downloaded the 4.0.1 unity so that I did not touch it and hence I removed the estlei Unity 3.5.2. Always when I push to start it appears Unity3D (Fatal Error type == kMetaAssetType && pathname.find (“Library/Metadata”) != 0)

Hi, I have been working on Unity3D from past six months and had created some simple projects since then. Nowadays while opening some of the projects which were opening without any hiccups before, it gives me the error as in the image below while opening them. Unity 3.5.7 Fatal Error! type == kMetaAssetType & pathName.find ("library/metadata") != 0 I've been recently getting this error out of the blue even though my file was created and always edited in Unity 3.5.7. I looked at other related posts about this problem here, tried uninstalling it and installing it in different locations, deleted all the related registry files. Nothing. It always appears when I try to start Unity. Has anyone been able to bypass this somehow? I appreciate any help or links you can throw at me.

Hello, I'm new with unity, some friends of mine wanted to show me their project over dropbox. When I tried to open it (just clicked on the file) Unity couldn't open it. Now I wanted to start a new project alone, but everytime I try to start unity I get en "error" : Fatal error! Detected multiple Library folders within your project. Did you copy a project into this project? Use "Export Package" to move assets between Projects. You need to remove the following Lirary folder(s) from your project before you can open it again: C:/Users/myName/Dropbox/Psycho/Unity/Unity/Assets/Library I don't even WANT to reopen this project :( I tried to deinstall dropbox but it had no use, the folder remained where it was, then I tried to delete the wohle Project folder but I haven't created it so my computer continues saying I'm not allowed to remove it and if I remove just parts of it unity remakes them (the library folder) when I try to open it! any ideas what I can do?

gc: too many threads, crash using Unity 4.2

When I work in the editor of the new Unity 4.2, the editor crashes pretty quickly with the error gc: too many threads. I can't find a specific action that causes this nor do I know what is actually the cause of this. I've never had any problems before (actually, in 3.5 Unity would crash frequently due to memory leaks, but not nearly as often as this). My system should be powerful enough and I don't notice Unity taking up an extreme amount of memory when this happens. I have already tried removing and reinstalling Unity, but it did not help. Working on a different project also did not help. I searched around a bit, but it does not seem like are many people suffering from this same problem. Any suggestions? Additional Information: Lenovo w520 Windows 7 x64

hi guys, i download my pictuer.png with www and create texture with www.texture and this work nice, but when i repeat this many my project crash and show fatal error out of memory and show this error: failed to create 2D texture and this: !texture.texture is it possible to delete Previously downloaded picture ? i m sorry for my english :(

Every time I try to make a navmesh of my game to have AI set for the enemies, Unity crashes with the above error message, Is this because I am trying to create a navmesh of a 2kx2k terrain with other details? Or is it just my laptop is not powerful enough to do this? Anything helps Specs: Intel i7 2670QM @ 2.2 8GB RAM DDR3 1.5GB RAM GDDR5; Nvidia GeForce GTX 555M EDIT: This was done under a console license if that matters at all.
